Despite having little budget, the film benefited from our increased availability, experience with equipment, and significantly improved professionalism. These factors made the filming process much smoother and more efficient compared to earlier projects.
The film was completed successfully, showcasing our ability to deliver high-quality work despite budget constraints. "Shadow’s Edge" received positive feedback for its visual and audio quality, highlighting the effectiveness of our collaborative efforts and technical skills.
In "Shadow’s Edge," I served as both Gaffer and Boom Operator. As the Gaffer, I was responsible for the lighting design and implementation, ensuring the visual tone matched the dystopian theme. As the Boom Operator, I handled the audio recording, ensuring clear and high-quality sound capture throughout the production.
The primary challenge was working with no budget, which required us to be resourceful and creative with the available equipment. However, our previous experiences and increased professionalism allowed us to handle these challenges more effectively. We were better prepared, which resulted in fewer problems during shoot days. The project also benefited from our improved technical skills, making the entire process smoother and quicker.
